Małopolska Educational Cloud (MChE)
Małopolska Chmura Edukacyjna (MChE) is an experimental videoconference-based educational environment introduced in the Lesser Poland Voivoidship in 2014. During an empirical pilot study conducted from October 2014 to April 2015, 30 hours of videoncenference-based classes were given simultaneously to 4 groups of about 60 upper-secondary school students. This pilot edition of the project was coordinated by Professor Małgorzata Pamuła-Behrens. The course and course materials were designed and authored Professor Małgorzata Pamuła-Behrens and Łukasz Olesiak, who also taught the classes. Emanuel Studnicki provided technical support.
TELE Department is in charge of a number of educational projects carried out as part of the initiative, including:
- digital training of teachers of Małopolska vocational schools
- videoconferencing in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP)
- videoconferencing in teaching general English
